Experience the Driscoll Difference

The Ireland's had recently purchased this beautiful five (5) bedroom home, but realized the fiberglass decks were in pretty bad shape.

      The Ireland Project Description:

From a distance, the fiberglass decks didn't look that bad; but, as soon as

you got up close you began to notice the built-up fiberglass under the railing

posts, but NOT under the structural posts - and there were plenty of them to

leak through. The roof top deck had cracks and nail-pops through the

fiberglass because they were not nailed into the joists. We have our work cut

      out for us...

      The Driscoll Fiberglass Solution Story:

The first thing we'll need to do is rip off the fiberglass decks and see what

structural water damage we have below; replace the joists and sub-flooring,

lay new 5/8" sheathing, the pre-fiberglassed 1/2" finished decking, putty,

sand, with 1.5oz fiberglass mat and a waterproof Gel Kote finish.

Ireland: Looks pretty good from here... Ireland: Love that over-sized roof top deck, but.. Ireland: ..Are those j-chanel over the fascias
Ireland: First let's remove the railings... Ireland: Then jack-her-up to remove the water damaged decking under the columns Ireland: Note the section of broken column for the water to pour in... Not to worry, we'll fix it!
Ireland: Ripping off the roof deck... Ireland: That's how a column is supposed to be fiberglassed! Ireland: The back deck 'glassed the right way!
Ireland: The roof deck too, note the fascias into the roofline Ireland: Roof deck, note the fiberglass 8-10" up the walls. Ireland: And, finally the waterproof Gel Koting is applied
Ireland: Note the new fascia "over" the j-chanel Ireland: Just one little spot before we step down Ireland: We'll put the railings back on, but note those large fascias up and down!
