This Driscoll Solution Story is to replace a leaking oceanfront fiberglass deck the right way(scroll down)
Everything looks fine on these beautiful oceanfront decks from here. But, the upper fiberglass was leaking down into the lower unit. Then Driscoll came to the rescue click here or on the image above for our fabulous finale Click us an email at action@driscolldecks.com 609.204.2424Experience the Driscoll Difference The Mannion's say: "The contractor repaired our fiberglass deck just two years ago. He even came back last summer and "fixed" it again. It kept leaking. We could not be more pleased to find Driscoll to fix it the right way once and for all"The Mannion Project Description: Even if you knew nothing about construction techniques, wouldn't you agree that decks on an oceanfront property would require additional consideration for the harsh environment; like wind driven rain. When you look at the "before" pictures below; one has to ask themselves, where did this 1/2-a*sed contractor learn how to do fiberglass, or did he just not give a hoot!
Driscoll Solution Story: When we removed the lower section of siding and the door, we found out where our biggest problems were; Mr. 1/2-A had stuffed dry fiberglass under the corners and door (w/o resins) and had only gone up the houseline wall between 1-2". Have you ever heard the theory that rain goes vertically "up" on the Jersey Shore; it does! especially on oceanfront properties. No problem, Driscoll will repair this deck the right way, wind and all.
