The Murphy Project Description:
The Murphy family home is situated on the signature hole of a magnificent
golf course. They wanted something with enough room to relax and entertain
family and friends outside (without those *&^% bugs!) and yet preserve the
natural beauty and their panoramic views. They wanted a large sunroom
(sip), but also would like a small outdoor area for the barbeque.
Driscoll Solution Story:
First we went to work designing a large custom NatureScape screened-in
porch (sip), with Eze-Breeze screen/vinyl panels, that would fit nicely under
their existing soffit. The roof line is a studio-style, built around two bump-out
bay windows (see 1st photo, a challenge, but a pleasure to build). We then
added a custom 8 X 14 entrance deck (note the matching colors) with open
stairs, so no railings would block the view of the picturesque 16th hole, and
just the right amount of space for the barbeque and deck chairs....FORE!
