The Regan's say: "This is our summer getaway home and we wanted a nice sized deck for entertaining and the front porch needed a little help too. We are very glad we found Driscoll to help us"

      The Regan Project Description:

The Regan's summer getaway is a lovely in-town home that recently got a

new second floor added, but it was now time to consider their outdoor living

space. Their old deck (above left) was old and just too small and the front

porch needed new decking boards and railings.

      Driscoll Solution Story:

The orignial plan seemed simple enough; replace the back deck completely

with a new larger design that will fit nicely in the limited space available, and

just the decking boards and railings on the front porch. But, as a few of the

images below will show, the back deck was easy starting from a clean sheet

of paper, the front porch - not to worry - Driscoll will fix it...!

Regan: This old one is ready to go. Note the post in the concrete..? Regan: Looks like a see-thru plan for the back deck and the front porch... Regan: Since April is for Action, 'bout time we started getting some...
Regan: The front porch looked pretty easy at first... Regan: but needed a number of new joists, hardware, flashing and support. Speaking of... Regan: Is that just trimboard holding up the roof..? No problem we'll post it up the right way.

Regan: Meanwhile, outback things are decking up just fine... Regan: Lookin' pretty good so far, Driscoll... Regan: Nice wide stairs and white vinyl railings..

Regan:...with Spanish cedar top rails Regan: Lattice and white trimboard finish this little deck nicely.... Regan:...and the front porch, w/new structural posts too..!
