The Harrigans say "It's fun to work with a contractor that loves his work so much..."

    Harrigan Project Description:

As most of our clients, the Harrigan's have beautiful setting in their rear yard,

    but a few bump-outs with a 5 1/2' drop including the builder's steps to

nowhere. They wanted us to create a classic Driscoll design to compliment the

unique style of their houseline, plus a place for the hot tub, but of course...

    Our Harrigan Solution:

We first got out our #1 DeckTools design software and came up with a little

38' X 20' tri-level that uses the bump-out angle to start the first level change.

Then a 12' step-down octagon dining area at the same level as the angle step,

and finally, the main deck with the spa tucked nicely in the right hand corner,

leaving plenty of party-room on the main deck. And, nicely finished with our

signature flared stairs to the lawn area. OK, the lawn needed a little work, so

Harrigan: A first look at those beautiful bump-outs with the builder's stairs... Harrigan: Now we're talking Driscoll; could there be a famous design architect in the family...? Harrigan: Is that the Driscoll job trailer moving in? 'Tis a good sign...!

Harrigan: Here comes the sun... during this spring-like December; 'Tis another good sign.. Harrigan: Time to play pickup sticks... Harrigan: The spa slab is ready and waiting...

Harrigan: You're going to love the lines... Harrigan: ...on this "classic Driscoll design"... Harrigan: First look at this nice tri-level design; also note the inset spa at the top left. We're workin' it, for sure...

Harrigan: Enlarge and you'll see the step down across the entrance level bump out runs right into the octagon... Harrigan: A more completed view of this tri-level framing with the spa built-in on main deck Harrigan: a few final framing adjustments and we're ready for the composite decking boards and white PVC railings...

Harrigan: From the entrance deck, looking down-right to the octagon, then down again to the main deck w/spa (covered) Harrigan: Note the harringbone pattern, then the step-up to the octagon and entrance deck... Harrigan: Getting the railings in place, then next we'll finish those beautiful "signature" flared stairs

Harrigan: The tri-level from entrance deck to step-down octagon to main deck; note lights Harrigan: From the entrance deck looking down to the spa on the main deck Harrigan: Yes! Those are Driscoll Signature Flared Stairs...

Harrigan: This last deck view is just to show off the double-harringbone pattern on the main deck... Nothings too good for the Harrigan's Harrigan: Aye! H-a-rr-i-gan spells... well you know the rest of the song. Another fun project for the Driscoll boys. You should be next.....!
